JCT Student Essay Competition
Win £1,000 to help with the cost of your course. JCT's Student Essay Competition is open to any student registered with a UK educational or professional institution studying a degree, professional qualification, vocational course, trade apprenticeship, or any other construction-related programme.
To take part you will need to submit an essay of no more than 2,500 words on one of two topics:
A vision for the future of construction
or
The future of construction contract management in the digital age
Entry takes place via the JCT website. To register visit the registration page or click the link below. The competition closes on Friday 1st June 2012. Judging will take place throughout June, by a panel of construction industry experts and media representatives. Prizes of £1,000 for winners and £250 for runners-up will be awarded at a special event at the House of Commons in July.
Things to read before you start...
- JCT's student essay competition is open to any student studying a degree, professional qualification, vocational course, trade apprenticeship, or other construction-related programme.
- Entries can be indivdual, or as part of a team of up to three people.
- Entries can be from the UK or overseas, but students must be registered with a UK educational or professional institution.
- Your entry must not be more than 2,500 words.
- You must submit your essay by Friday 1st June 2012.
