| JCT wishes to make it clear that all rights in documents published on behalf of JCT and in respect of JCT Text in general are reserved. No part of any JCT document may be produced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted, in any form or by any means, without the prior permission of JCT's publisher, except as permitted for those entering into a licence agreement in respect of JCT Contracts Digital Service or as permitted by the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. So as to avoid any doubt on this matter a copyright line is to be printed on each page of all JCT documents. The publisher of the relevant JCT document needs JCT's agreement to grant a licence to reproduce JCT copyright material. JCT wishes to make it known that it will not agree to grant a licence to use JCT Text in production of bespoke contracts, other than through the use of JCT Contracts Digital Service.
