Contractor Collateral Warranty for a Purchaser or Tenant (CWa/P&T)

This Warranty may be given by a contractor to a purchaser or tenant of the whole or part of the building(s) comprising the works which are being or have been carried out under:

  • a JCT Standard Building Contract (SBC); or
  • a JCT Intermediate Building Contract (IC); or
  • a JCT Intermediate Building Contract with contractor's design (ICD); or
  • a JCT Design and Build Contract (DB); or
  • a JCT Prime Cost Building Contract (PCC).

The Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) is the industry’s foremost contracts producing organisation. It produces standard forms e.g. standard construction contracts, standard building contracts and subcontracts for the construction industry.
